Royal baby: Duchess of Cambridge gives birth to a boy

It’s a boy! The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to a baby boy on the 22nd July at 4.24pm London time.
The baby weighed 8lbs 6oz.
Kensington Palace said in a statement: “Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well and will remain in hospital overnight,”

The Prince of Wales said that he was “enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time”, adding that it was “an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine“. “Grandparenthood is a unique moment in anyone’s life, as countless kind people have told me in recent months, so I am enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing the baby in the near future.”

Join us in giving the Royal Baby a welcome and congratulating Kate and William.
